Hockey Shoot-out has no accounts, no servers and no analytics. This page explains what the app stores, why, and what never happens.
The short version. Hockey Shoot-out does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. Team names, player numbers and names, and the record of each shoot-out are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. Stacksy never sees them.
Who we are
Hockey Shoot-out is made by Stacksy, a software studio in Perth, Western Australia. You can reach us at contact@stacksy.com.au. We are the "we" in this policy.
What the app stores, and where

None of this is sent to Stacksy or to anyone else. There is no sign-in, no cloud backup run by us, and no identifier that ties the data to you. If you delete the app, everything it stored is deleted with it.
What we do not do
- We do not collect analytics, crash reports or usage statistics.
- We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party software development kits.
- We do not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, camera or health data.
- We do not create a profile of you or link data across apps or websites.
The app's privacy manifest, which Apple reviews, declares the same: no tracking and no collected data types.
Sharing a record is your choice
The record screen has "Share" and "Copy" buttons. If you use them, the app hands a plain-text summary of the shoot-out to the iOS share sheet or the clipboard, and from there to whatever app you choose, such as Mail, Messages or a document. That happens only when you tap the button, and what you send and to whom is up to you.
Children
Hockey Shoot-out is rated 4+ on the App Store because it contains nothing objectionable, but it is a tool for umpires, technical officials and team managers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Player names entered by an official stay on the official's device.
This website
shootout.hockey is a static website, including the browser version of the timer at /timer/. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability, which are kept for a limited period and not used to identify you.
Australian privacy law
Stacksy handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), whether or not we are legally required to. Because Hockey Shoot-out keeps nothing about you, there is nothing for us to give access to, correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, or you have a complaint, email contact@stacksy.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Hockey Shoot-out adds a feature that sends data off the device, for example sending a record to a tournament system, we will update this policy before that version ships, describe exactly what is sent and where, and ask for your consent in the app. The current version of this policy is always at shootout.hockey/privacy.html, and the effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.
